Hooverphonic received a platinum award for 'Hooverphonic with Orchestra' after their concert at Koningin Elisabethzaal on Saturday April 28th. The award was handed over by the Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo, who's a big fan of Hooverphonic.

Het album ‘HOOVERPHONIC with ORCHESTRA’ dat vorige week vrijdag uitkwam komt meteen nieuw binnen op nummer 1 in de nationale ULTRATOP ALBUM LIJST!
Dat is de hoogste notering die HOOVERPHONIC ooit heeft neergezet in de verkoopscharts in de eerste week van release! Hun beste resultaat tot dusver behaalde Hooverphonic met het album ‘HOOVERPHONIC presents JACKIE CANE’ dat in 2002 uitkwam. Dat album kwam in de eerste week binnen op nummer 5 en behaalde pas in de derde week de nummer 1 positie waar het 2 weken bleef staan.
‘HOOVERPHONIC with ORCHESTRA’ is te koop in alle winkels en hier op iTunes!

HOOVERPHONIC with Orchestra at Sportpaleis!
2011 was an amazing year for Hooverphonic with their album The Night Before going beyond double platinum and receiving multiple awards!
But 2012 will be THE year their biggest dream comes true!
After an impressive 15-year career with plenty of hit singles, Hooverphonic felt that it was finally time to perform the songs the way they were meant to be when they wrote them: with a large symphonic orchestra.
Not only have they recorded an album with a symphonic orchestra that will be released on March 9, they will also play 6 SOLD OUT shows with the symphonic orchestra at the Elisabethzaal in Antwerp (March 6-7-8 and April 27-28-29).
On top of that Hooverphonic announces a new and even bigger event: ‘Hooverphonic with Orchestra’ live at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp on October 26th!
This concert can’t be missed by fans who want to experience Hooverphonic live as never seen before: HOOVERPHONIC with a 62-piece orchestra!
Tickets will be available as from Friday March 9 at 9AM!
